Have you ever had days where you just feel so BLAH? Like, you wake up in the morning and you’re still laying in bed thinking to yourself “Do I REALLY have to get up and start this day?” because you can already feel it going down the toilet before you even do anything?
Positive affirmation is a wonderful tool to use in cases like this, or in other cases, as well. The key to positive affirmation is to BE POSITIVE!!! Using negative words like “can’t, don’t, won’t, not, no”, even though they can be used in a positive context, will misconstrue your message.
Go to your mirror, look your self in the eye and say your affirmation over and over again until you feel what you are saying. For example, say: “I am beautiful” until you truly believe what you are saying. You are able to use this for just about anything!
Another important thing you should know when doing positive affirmation is ALWAYS USE PRESENT TENSE!!! For the days that you need a confidence boost, this is the perfect tool. And you don’t have to look anywhere but to yourself. I know you are all probably thinking that this is way too easy to work. But, I have done it before, and it TOTALLY DOES WORK!!!
The key to anything working like this is that you just have to have a little faith 🙂
