Hey guys!  Sorry that I haven’t been around for a couple of weeks now.  Things have been crazy around here like you wouldn’t believe!   The first thing that we had to do was find a school for my daughter, Arwen, to go to.  

Better Personal Management

Hey there, Readers!!!  Back in January, I wrote a post about Making Time For Yourself and Your Craft.  This is such an important lesson that I can NOT say it enough!!!  YOU MUST MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF!  That being said, I know sometimes it can be difficult to do that.

 

Hindsight Is 20/20

Have you ever been different?  I, personally, have been different all of my life.  When I was a kid, I was pretty anti-social.  I would sit in the hallway and read instead of play at recess.  And, funnily enough, my best friend then AND now, was the one kid who sat next to me doing the same thing that I was.

 

Positive Affirmation

Have you ever had days where you just feel so BLAH?  Like, you wake up in the morning and you’re still laying in bed thinking to yourself “Do I REALLY have to get up and start this day?” because you can already feel it going down the toilet before you even do anything?

Positive affirmation is a wonderful tool to use in cases like this, or in other cases, as well.  The key to positive affirmation is to BE POSITIVE!!!  Using negative words like “can’t, don’t, won’t, not, no”, even though they can be used in a positive context, will misconstrue your message.

Recovery

Well, I am out of the hospital and at home. Definitely feeling the fact that I got cut open yesterday. I want to thank all my readers for the well wishes and warm thoughts. I should be back on here causing mischief in no time

A Warranted Apology

Well, thank the gods and goddesses that I am finally back up and running!!!  I was devastated when my blog was down yesterday, wracking my brain for reasons that it could have been suspended.  Wanting to cry because I was stupid enough to NOT back up my work (BACK UP YOUR WORK, PEOPLE!!!! BEST ADVICE EVER!!!!!).  As soon as I became aware of the problem (I think that I only lost about an hour from when it actually went down to when I got the messages about it), I emailed wordpress.com.  I also told you guys, my wonderful readers, that I would let you know their response.  So, here it is:

Serious Issues

A lot of personal issues have been going on in my life.  I am going to have surgery to remove my gall bladder soon, they screened me for cancer because I have polyps in my gall bladder.  Thankfully, things for me are okay.  I got my blood work back yesterday and I am cancer free.  Thank the gods!!!

Unfortunately, my uncle isn’t so lucky.
